Russell Westbrook’s NBA Career Brief

Russell Westbrook is a professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the NCAA’s UCLA Bruins. He was drafted in the first round by the Seattle SuperSonics in 2008. He has been on the following teams: Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Washington Wizards, and Los Angeles Lakers. Throughout his career he has won many awards and received much recognition. For example, he was the most valuable player (MVP) for the NBA’s All Star game in 2015 where he scored 41 points. He’s had four seasons where he averaged a triple-double. Despite his current circumstance, Westbrook has proven that he can be a leader in the NBA. Due to his ability, Westbrook has been able to work with popular companies such as the Jordan brand, True Religion, Mountain Dew, and more.
