4/20 Brought Smoking Games To NBA Playoffs

NBA players put on a show for 4/20. The games were “smoking” hot!

Nets Vs Celtics

The Celtics are 2-0 in their playoff series against the Brooklyn Nets as they secured a 114-107 victory. Jayson Tatum finished the game with a double-double, as he had 19 points and 10 assists. However, Jaylen Brown led the team in scoring with 22 points. Marcus Smart, Payton Pritchard, Al Horford, Grant Williams, and Daniel Theis all had 10 or more points. Thus, the victory was truly a team effort.

Cash Nasty said it best when he tweeted “Boston just want[s] this more.” Kevin Durant and Bruce Brown only combined for 50 points. Then, Kyrie Irving only scored 10 points, which was disappointing to many fans. However, it was Steve Nash who took the brunt of the criticism. Bakari Sellers tweeted, “Steve Nash can’t coach man. It’s ok to say it. Great PGs don’t always make good coaches.” That’s quite inconsiderate as Nash is dealing with a group of players who want to call the shots!

76ers Versus Raptors

Philadelphia 76ers are having their way against the Toronto Raptors. The 76ers are now leading the series 3-0. They are one win away from moving on to round two. It was Philadelphia’s big three who couldn’t be stopped. Joel Embiid finished with a double double, as he had 33 points and 13 rebounds. James Harden and Tyrese Maxey each scored 19 points; however, James Harden dished 10 assists to get himself a double-double. Yet, James Harden fouled out of the game. Despite this error, the victory was a team effort as the 76ers secured a higher field goal, free throw, and three point percentage than the Toronto Raptors.

Bulls Vs Bucks

The final game of the night was between the Chicago Bulls and the Milwaukee Bucks. Giannis made history as he passed Kareem Abdul Jabbar’s all-time playoff scoring record for the Milwaukee Bucks. However, there wasn’t much of a celebration since the Bulls defeated the Bucks 114 to 110. This is all thanks to DeMar DeRozan who scored 41 points!

It was a night filled with “smoking” games!
