NBA Playoffs: The Win That Shouldn’t Have Been

Last night the Minnesota Timberwolves put on a show. They were whooping the Grizzlies by more than 20 points. I mean, they were totally spanking them. So, y’all know Patrick Beverley put on a show. He had all the emotes and celebrations like he was a player on 2k! I’m not kidding. I can’t make this up. Then, boom! Next thing you know the score was tied and the Grizzles won the game 104 to 95! It was the greatest show of resilience that I’ve ever seen. If bounce back was a team, it’ll be the Memphis Grizzlies.

The star of the game was Desmond Bane. This guy put gave it his all from tip off to the end of the fourth quarter. In 40 minutes, he scored 26 points, grabbed six rebounds, and dished out 2 assists. He also received helped from Brandon Clarke who finished with 20 points and 8 rebounds. And, of course, the franchise player, Ja Morant, had a triple double.

But, the thing I enjoyed the most about the end of the game, the Grizzly players didn’t embarrass the Timberwolves. I didn’t see anyone taunting them. They were locked in until the final second of the game. Character speaks volumes. They didn’t have to say much because their skills spoke for them. With that being said, the Grizzlies lead the series 2 to 1.
