Trae Young’s Positivity

In a daily post to Twitter, the Atlanta Hawks starting point guard, Trae Young writes “another day, another opportunity.” This seems to be his quote to live by, and Young has definitely taken advantage of daily opportunities, especially as it relates to his basketball career. In the Hawks last game against the Los Angeles Lakers, Young recorded a double-double with 36 points and 12 assists. The 2018 draft pick is averaging 27 points, 9 assists, and 4 points per game. How much more can he do to help his team? The Atlanta Hawks are currently ranked number 10 in their conference with a record of 24 wins and 25 losses. Can Young do it alone? Or, will he need another superstar to join the roster?

Phoenix Suns Streakin’

It seems as though the Phoenix Suns can’t be stopped! On January 31st, the franchise expanded their winning streak to 10 as they defeated the San Antonio Spurs. Devin Booker, Mikal Bridges, and Chris Paul scored in double digits. Bismack Biyombo finished the game with a double double and led his team with a total of 11 rebounds. Yet, the ultimate star of the show was Chris Paul with 19 assists! Who does that? The Suns are set to face off against the Brooklyn Nets tomorrow night. Will they be able to grab win 11?

Lakers Got 99 Problems

Author: Baller Chat TV

In 2021 the NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers packed their team with stars. They created a super team. They were reviving the “Lake Show.” They let go of young talent like Kyle Kuzma and picked up older, all-star players like Carmelo Anthony and Russell Westbrook. The world waited, and the Lakers didn’t live up to expectations. LeBron James even apologized for the team’s performance. One person that has stood out is Russell Westbrook, who is known as Mr. Triple Double! He struggled. He took poor shots. He had multiple turnovers.  Y’all know the rest. There was some sloppy play. The trade rumors are brewing, and I agree with Draymond Green who said you can’t blame one person for the struggle of an entire organization. That’s just crazy. I guess the countless injuries are forgotten. Nobody said anything about the personal trainer. But, that’s none of my business. Here’s what I do know: Russ was a first-round pick. He’s been MVP of the league. He’s been an all-star, assist leader, and so much more until arriving in Los Angeles. The team still lost after Westbrook scored 35 points against the Charlotte Hornets on January 28, 2022. If anything, this just shows super teams have super problems.
